Noted Canadian jewelry designer Constantina James of Simply Sublime received a pleasant surprise when the Academy Gift Bag Committee invited her to contribute pieces of her jewelry for inclusion in the renowned gift bags given to the Oscar nominees.

"They saw my line in a New York online boutique and asked me to include 40 pieces from my line in their gift bags, and needless to say, I am ecstatic!", James said.

Each of the non-winning nominees received the gift bag, including the Simply Sublime jewelry. " James said. James worked furiously to get the pieces ready on time. “I am designed signature necklaces and earrings specifically for the event.
